American Red Cross Blood Drive

Key Club has teamed up with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive. The blood drive will be held on Thursday Dec. 6th from 8:30a.m to 1:30p.m in the pool lobby located by the main gym. All blood donors have a chance to win one of four best buy home entertainment systems which includes a flat screen t.v.

Many people believe the origin of the chaotic shopping trend began when department stores such as Macy’s saw the opportunity to begin advertising holiday specials while promoting the holiday parades. This is why the advertising and Black Friday occur after Thanksgiving. Victims of hurricane Sandy are beginning to get their lives back to normalcy. For the majority of the victims getting back up is not going to be an easy ride. Many areas that were struck hard by Sandy’s heavy rain and winds caused many victims to lose their homes and cars. Today homes are still without power and many victims are forced to move out and find another home. As Hurricane Sandy continued on its destructive path through the northeast, along with it came devastation, disbelief, and even death. On October 29, at 7 pm, the National Hurricane Center ceased classifying Sandy as a hurricane, and it was classified as a post-tropical superstorm. Boxing Event At Schenectady High

Saturday November 17, there will be an amateur boxing event in Schenectady High School. Schenectady Youth Boxing & Fitness inc present the Schenectady High School's Boxing Club The Peaceful Warriors. A ring will be set up in the main gym where the boxing bouts will be held. If you're a boxing fan you should definitely come to this event.
