The Final CapStone

We’re back, and we’re really down to the wire now with less than three weeks left before that final bell.  And with spring finally up and well here in Niskayuna, the opportunities are endless.

Firstly, make sure to make sure to swing by Craig this Saturday, the 18th for the 32nd Niska-Day celebration.  The theme for this year is Vegas and this year’s festival is sure to be another successful and fun outing.  Come early around 10 to catch the parade, and stay late to catch the fireworks!  The weather should be absolutely gorgeous this year (somewhat atypical of Niska-Day tradition), so make sure to bring the sunscreen if you plan to be out all day!

Also coming up are the Boy’s lacrosse playoffs. Ranked number one in New York State class B, and number four in the entire nation—this group of boys is truly a sight to see. With the state championship game slotted for June 8th in Pittsford, NY (right outside of Rochester), the lights at St. John’s Fisher College are ones that players and superfans alike hope to see!

And finally to all of you 18 and overs out there are you a fan of ScoresUp.com? Do you see the value of a business education in schools today? Do you want to make sure that the future accountants of the world actually know what they’re doing so we can avoid the financial struggles we see today? Well if you have any answer to any of the questions above and live in the Niskayuna district, make sure to get out and make your voice heard at the budget vote this Tuesday, May 21st at Niskayuna High School.
