Summer is approaching fast, and one of the best things about summer is its concerts! Let’s take a look at some of the great concerts coming up this summer:
Tues. June 16: New Kids on the Block
New Kids on the Block is coming to SPAC this summer. The heartthrob 80’s band has made a comeback in recent years with songs like “Summertime” and their amazing harmonies and dance moves.
Tues. June 23: 311 with special guest Ziggy Marley
Alternative rockers 311 Alternative rockers 311 established themselves as one of rock's most versatile bands because of their amazing blend of rock, rap, reggae and metal.
Friday July 3: Def Leppard with Poison and Cheap Trick Def Leppard, one of the ‘80’s top selling bands is coming to SPAC with Poison, with lead singer Brett Michaels (who you know from Vh1’s Rock Of Love) , and Cheap Trick, a veteran pop/rock group from the ‘70’ s!
July 18: John Legend with special guest Vaughn Anthony
John Legend, the Grammy Award Winning soul singer, brings his "Evolver" world tour to the Palace Theatre in Albany on July 18!
Wed. July 22: Nickelback with Hinder, Saving Abel and Papa Roach These four great bands are coming to SPAC this summer. Their amazing blend of rock is sure to be the greatest concert coming to the capitol region this summer!
Monday, August 3: Sugar Ray
The popular band from the ‘90’s is coming to Northern Lights in Clifton Park on August 3rd. You remember their songs like “Fly” and “When It’s Over”, now hear them live at Northern Lights.
Sunday August 9: O.A.R. O.A.R. (a.k.a. Of A Revolution) is coming to SPAC this summer! They have become one of America's top jam bands thanks to unpredictable, sprawling live shows that they encourage fans to tape and trade. Concert goers can expect O.A.R. to play favorites such as "That Was a Crazy Game of Poker" and the top ten hit "Shattered"
